Hi everypawdy! This is Anatu and Danu! Today while trying to train the humans in our house how to "YEOWL we found a letter from Rez. It was in the cabinet where mom keeps the kitty litter. Well after chasing it around the house and back to the bathroom. We decided to read it...*hands letter to Danu* She has a better speaking voice. MOL
*clears her throat* OK here goes:

To the new kitty of the house, (I guess he wasn't expecting the 2 of us)
There are a few things to remember about the running of this house. First things first though......ALWAYS POOP in the litter box......Mom isn't a happy camper when you don't! Mom will try to get you to drink from a water bowl. And depending on your size you might want to do so for a little while. But seeing that mom only refreshes the water twice a day, I suggest that you drink from the bath tub. Mom won't get on you about it and thinks it's cute. And it's the freshest water in the house.
There is a scratching post in the house but I never use it......I suggest that you scratch at the doorways and windows like I do. The scratching post is just for decoration. NOT MEANT FOR PLAY. The 'toys' mom buys are also for show. You should not play with these silly things like 'fish on a stretchy cord'. Or balls with grains in them so they make a rattle sound. OH and last but certainly not least NO CATNIP!! That just drives a kitty crazy and makes them do weird things.
The humans in the house are very well trained and if you need anything just MEOW and it'll be attended to. Lil mom likes to play with kitty's and I hope your the playing sort of kitty because I am not....I am the cuddly, sleeping kind. Please not to be waking me up to play. I am Lil mom's protection at night. Yes on the every night occasion I do tend to bounce of all the walls when Lil mom is asleep. But I always return to my spot on the bed. If you desire a spot on the bed you can have the foot end.....The head end is MY spot!
Now for the food issue. Lil mom loves things like Pickles and Green Beans. I suggest that you get used to eating these as I am a avid green thing eater and Lil mom expects it from her kitty's.
The rats in the room are only for show and really don't like you laying on their cages......I would recommend laying up there, or if the cage is unavailable use the TV. If there is a grey sort of rat use your own discretion. I would not chase these......It needs to live too...That's my motto. But our foster kitty 'Mau-Mau' used to catch these and bring them to mom and get something special for doing so. Since I do not chase these feel free to do so if you wish. Mom will love you either way.
I think I covered everything that needed covered.....Remember to help with the training of the humans to "YEOWL" as they do not have this down after 3 years with me.

WOW what a long list and we have already broken four of the rules of the house!! We play on the cat tree, we scratch the cat tree, we play with the toys and we LOVE the catnip......Yes it does make us a little loopy but mom seems to like it and Lil mom LOVES watching us play and playing with us....But on the bright side we are pooping in the litter box. So does that cancel out the other stuff we did? OMC what's a cat to do??
